T.A.S. have invested in 2 Hydra-test machines. An automatic transmission is hydraulically powered. These machines will hydraulically and electronically mimic the road running conditions of a transmission. They will supply the clutch and valve body with transmission fluid and electric currant as they would receive in the car. This automated sequence can be set from 1 to 100 times, this is especially useful when trying to find a fault that only occurs on the vehicle after the valve body and solenoids have been run for a period of time . We can then see the effects on pressure gauges and find and eliminate problems that occur. We therefore know that the finished product works before it goes into the car.
